Planned Changes/Revisions

Long term goals include tuning the current play experience to raid most content with 24 characters (including bots if necessary). This will be a lengthy process as all revisions will need to be play-tested. First up Nagafen, Vox, Gorenaire etc…

How long will it take?

How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop? Or in other words, hard to say, more than a few weeks; less than a few months for the first round of changes. That said, no reason to let that stop you from creating a character and trying out the rest of the server, there’s plenty to do and see before the dragons.


Game Play Changes

  • Change adventuring level cap to 65
  • Restricting content to Vanilla through The Legacy of Ykesha expansion
  • Remove Defiant Armor ( removed 08/20/17)
  • Enable bots (5 spawned at any time max)
  • Autoscribe spells ( enabled 09/29/16)
  • Ease some zone key requirements

Restoring Classic Items

From time to time the original developers would remove certain items from the game in the interest of “balance”. Later those same changes would be negated by further expansions. I intend to reintroduce some of the classic items to the loot tables. Examples could include:

  • Manastone ( restored 08/02/17)
  • Guise of the Deceiver
  • Fungi Staff
  • Rubicite Armor
  • Box of Abu-Kar
  • Journeyman’s Boots (back on Drelzna)
  • Mistwalker  (maybe)
  • Ashenbone Hammer
  • Axe of the Slayers

Kunark

  • Gem Encrusted Ring
  • Locket of Escape (maybe)
  • Circlet of Shadow
  • Ringed Mace of the Ykesha

Restoring Lost NPC’s

  • Pirate Destroyer (Firiona Vie)
  • Undead Sprite (Lesser Faydark)
  • A Servant of T’Vyl (Befallen)
  • Draketamer (Frontier Mountains)
